Plant Lovers Peak to Sea Pilgrimage

Due to the success of our annual Guardians of Eden retreat and in recognition of the growing number of botanical enthusiasts, we have created a private version of this epic "Plant lovers Peak to Sea Pilgrimage"

In this 7-day retreat your group (4-13 people) will be met early in the morning in San Jose, and taken to the Ark Herb Farm where you will meet Tin, your guide for an introduction into tropical medicinal plants, from there we will journey to the top of Cerro del Muerte for a 2-day exploration of the beautiful highland (paramo) plants with Saty Seele as your guide.

Leaving the highlands we will travel to the top of the Tinamaste mountains and there we will travel by foot through the pristine frontier of the Diamante Verde Sanctuary, and arrive at the Cathedral de Piedra where we will be joined by Marcos del Mante who will guide us through the diverse botanical treasures of our wilderness sanctuary.

As we will be travelling and staying in a variety of residences we will embrace local cuisine and enhance it by adding emphasis on these medicinal/edible plants we will harvest seasonal edibles live-it. During our stay in Diamante Verde we will nourish ourselves primarily with greens and veggies from our organic garden.
